Build and Kill Zombies Beginner Guide: Your First Hour
How a run works
Build and Kill Zombies is a loop. You roll parts at two machines in your garage area, bolt them onto a car in Build mode, and drive downhill into zombies until the fuel runs out. The distance you cover pays 0.4 Cash per stud (a 1,203-stud run paid 481 Cash in one recording), and hitting zombies adds more. The Cash goes into better parts, the skill tree and eventually the two blueprint cars.
Servers hold five players. Everyone has their own plot, but the boss fight and Server Luck are shared.
Controls
| Action | Key |

Movement, jump and interact come from Sportskeeda’s guide; the Build, Drive, Return and Delete keys are printed on the buttons themselves.
The tutorial, step by step
The tutorial is short and you should finish it before anything else, because the code box and the Unlock Gold Roll skill both stay locked until you do. In the recordings the prompts were:
- Roll at the Blocks Station to find an Engine. Use the CAR PARTS machine.
- Buy the Small Engine. Rolling was free in the videos; buying the part is what costs Cash. One recorded save started with 350 Cash.
- Open the Build menu (B) and place the Engine on the marked spot, then close the menu.
- Buy the Shredder ($250) from the SUPPORTS side.
- Switch to the Weapons tab and place the Shredder.
- Hit DRIVE and go crush some zombies. When the fuel runs out, press RETURN.
- Open the Skill Tree. The game points at the SKILLS button after your first run.
What is in the lobby
- Left-hand menu: SHOP (Exclusive Shop and the code box), SAVES, INDEX (parts you have unlocked), SKILLS, SETTINGS and CO-OP (plot permissions for other players).
- Car Builds beacon: the Fast Furious and Blue Monster blueprints.
- Free Chest: needs you to like the game and join the Zombie Car Crusher group first.
- Hacker Event stand: the event shop, quests and tokens while the Hacker Event runs.
- Admin Abuse billboard: a countdown to the weekly admin event (Wednesdays, 15:00 UTC).
- Mailbox: sends feedback to the developers.
- Leaderboards: Top Cash and Top Distance boards, each with a reset countdown.
Your first purchases
- Redeem the codes. The five codes give 1,500 Cash, a Small Engine, a Small Tank, two Passenger Seats and 200 Hacker Tokens.
- Luck I (75 Cash). +10% luck on every roll after it.
- More Support I. Opens a second weapon slot (the build counter goes from 0/1 to 0/2).
- A bigger fuel tank. Fuel decides how far you get. In one playthrough the best distance went from 1,363 to 2,289 studs after a blue fuel tank went on; the Pro Fuel pad showed 1 in 14 for $850.
The track
The first few hundred studs are open grass. Around 900 studs the road runs into a city with crosswalks and traffic barriers, and past 2,000 it opens onto grass again with jump ramps. Speed is shown in studs per second under the speedometer, fuel on its left and the car’s condition on its right.
Mistakes to avoid
- Buying every roll. Rolling is free; only buy parts you will use. Read the “1 in” number on the pad as well as the rarity colour.
- Overloading the car. If “Wheels straining under load!” appears, add wheels or remove blocks.
- Missing the boss. When NEXT BOSS IN reaches zero, the message “1x1x1x1 is coming! Press ATTACK to join the battle.” appears. Press ATTACK on the right. It comes round about once an hour.
- Following guides for the wrong game. Build a Car to Kill Zombies is an older, different Roblox game; its checkpoints and codes do not apply here.
