Source: Skill tree screens in VendoPlus's How to Build Good Car and Get Good Skills video (uploaded September 12, 2026) and RobloMine's 1 to 14K meters playthrough (uploaded September 14, 2026). Four or five more nodes appear as "?" hexagons until the node next to them is bought, so the full tree is larger than this list.

The priced nodes above add up to 9,950 Cash. Driving pays 0.4 Cash per stud, so that is about 24,875 studs of driving, or a dozen runs of the 2,000-stud kind a mid-game car manages, before codes and kill cash.

The three branches

Luck

Luck improves what the CAR PARTS and SUPPORTS machines give you. It is the cheapest branch and the one every guide agrees on: Luck I is 75 Cash for +10%, and Luck III jumps to +35% for 625. Pro Luck I (900 Cash, purple clover) sits past Luck III. The Robux passes (2x and 4x Permanent Luck) and the 15-minute Server Luck boost are sold separately in the shop.

Support

Support means weapons. A new plot has one weapon slot; More Support I makes it two, which is when a Shredder plus a Crossbow or Barrel Gun becomes possible. More Support II is the most expensive node seen so far at 3,700 Cash.

Gold Roll

Unlock Gold Roll (500 Cash) opens the branch below Start, followed by Gold Roll I (1,200) and Gold Roll II (2,700). The in-game card for these was never opened in the videos, so what a Gold Roll does is not listed here yet.

A sensible order

  1. Luck I (75): cheapest node, helps every roll after it.
  2. More Support I: the second weapon slot roughly doubles what you can mount.
  3. Luck II (250) and Luck III (625): Luck III is the biggest confirmed jump at +35%.
  4. Unlock Gold Roll (500) once the tutorial is done, then Gold Roll I (1,200).
  5. Pro Luck I (900), Gold Roll II (2,700) and More Support II (3,700) as mid-game goals.

This order puts cheap, confirmed effects first. It is our reading of the costs above, not an official recommendation.

Skill Tree FAQ

What skill should I buy first?

Luck I. It costs 75 Cash, less than a single 200-stud drive pays, and its +10% applies to every roll at both machines from then on. More Support I is the other early pick because it adds a second weapon slot.

How do I open the skill tree?

Press SKILLS in the menu on the left of the screen (the green button under SAVES). The tutorial also points you to it after your first drive with "Open the Skill Tree". Press CLOSE at the bottom to leave.

What does More Support do?

It adds weapon slots. Before it the build menu shows 0/1 weapons; after More Support I it shows 0/2, so you can mount two weapons, for example a Shredder and a Crossbow.

Why can I not buy Unlock Gold Roll?

It needs the tutorial finished. Until then the button says "Complete the Tutorial first!" even if you have the 500 Cash.

Do skills reset?

Skills are bought with Cash and stay on your account. They are separate from the Luck game passes, which cost Robux.
